26th March 2021 - Fingers Crossed

Its been a while since our last communication but we can now up date you further.

As you are probably aware, the next milestone in the Government’s Roadmap that may allow the gym to reopen, is 12 April. This of course is subject to change, but we want to keep you updated. Rest assured we are constantly monitoring any changes to guidance and the law.

Our hopeful Plan.................

Government Reopening Date 12th April 2021. Lincoln Gym Club Planned Reopening Date 19th April 2021

If we are allowed to reopen after the governments 12th April, our plan is to wait until after the school holidays so that we don’t disrupt your family time and long awaited ‘freedoms’ to have days out during the break.

Therefore, we plan to reopen with ALL sessions running from Monday 19th April.

You will receive more notice on this plan nearer the time.

Our Health & Safety & Risk Assessment.........

We have also considered the content of our Risk Assessment and can advise that there are no changes to it at this time, so everything remains as it was regarding the gym when you last came – hands, face space.

This can be found if required, by following the link below.

COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT - Gymnastics Centre

Your Fee Payments...............

FIT KIDZ, PRESCHOOL & MIXED AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS

These are the 1/2 termly sessions of 6 weeks in advance. You should of paid your fees back in November when we incurred the 2nd lock down period. These are held and will be carried forward until the start of this new term beginning w/c Monday 19th April. So, you should have nothing to pay.

MONTHLY CLUB RECREATIONAL & SQUAD GYMNASTS

Squad and Club Recreational sessions which are paid for monthly. You should of paid your monthly fee in January. This will be carried forward to cover from w/c 19th April and throughout your May sessions. So, you will be required to pay nothing until 1st June.

Please note: Anyone who has fees that remain unpaid in January, we will expect a payment to be made to cover the return in April. We have kept records up to date and will be in touch with you if this is the case.

If sessions begin as planned in April everyone, will need to make sure they re-start their Standing Order for fee payments for June.

We need your communication..............

So, until the government confirm the Road Map is going ahead as planned, we remain closed but with a prospective plan to return. We hope sessions will resume, even with important measures still in place.

To help us further get ready, we do need you to let us know if your child/children will not be returning to the club for their sessions or if any changes may be required for consideration. You can do this by emailing info@lincolngymnastics.club That would be really appreciated and helpful.

We will make further contact soon.

Thank you again for all you are doing to support your Club and we hope to see you all again soon.

Take Care

Club Directors, Committee and Coaching Team.

22nd January 2021 - 2021 Closure Continuation

Fee Payment Arrangements - Information Letter

Information for parents/guardians of children who were attending daytime or after school classes before 2nd COVID-19 lockdown closure.

To all our Members, Parents and Guardians

So, we begin Jan 2021 with not much change to our Club position. We remain closed following government guidelines and currently have no proposed date for reopening.

Lincoln Gym Club's Current Position

Throughout this whole pandemic, we continue to appreciate your support. In this communication we wish to keep you up to speed on the Clubs financial situation and how we are looking at moving forward with fee payments until reopening.

You will be pleased to know we have been able to secure some rates relief and Government funding at the end of last year. This has been greatly welcomed to help towards the £6,000 monthly fixed costs. Additionally, following the UK Supreme Court ruling, we hope to be able to pursue a claim with our insurers.

Payment Information

We know that at this time everyone's financial situation is different and therefore want to make things simple for everyone.

Those who paid their termly fees for classes to resume in Oct/November, your fee payment remains held and will remain part of our rollover payment procedure until classes resume on reopening. There will be no fees for you to pay on the first term back.

Please don't worry if you were unable to pay at that time due to circumstances or have requested this be refunded to you, your child's place remains secure, at this time and payment will be due on resuming of the classes if you return.

So

If you have any concerns or are unhappy with the procedure we are putting in place over your payment please contact payments@lincolngymnastics.club.

We understand everyone’s circumstances are different and wish for all members to be comfortable and happy with decisions.

The Club continues to try and support its members and their families and will be in contact with further information when we can.

Continue to Stay Safe, Stay Well, Stay Fit, and Healthy,

Club Directors, Committee and Coaching Team.

21st January 2021 - 2021 Closure Continuation

Fee Payment Arrangements - Information Letter

Information for parents/guardians of children who were attending Club Recreational & Squad sessions before this continued COVID-19 lockdown closure.

So to help support our members and give you peace of mind, we will again be putting into action a rollover payment procedure for your child’s monthly fees.

We asked you as monthly payers, to begin your standing order back up for January and this payment will have probably already gone out or due to go out, if you did so.

******Don't worry if you forgot or you were unable to due to circumstances.

So

If your payment has already gone out for January or is due to go out - this payment will now roll over to the month with which we reopen, hopefully March/April.

If you have not paid a fee payment in January then you will be required to pay for the month with which we reopen.

What we need you to do

Please note:
We DO NOT collect money via Direct Debits from you, therefore the club cannot repay or take any money from your accounts. Your payments are under your own control in the form of a Standing Order or Direct Credit. Therefore, you must act on your bank account to make the following changes:

We need you to stop your child/children(s) Standing Order for February until further notice. Please make sure your January payment has gone out before you do this.

We will send you further communication from the club about fee payments once we know when reopening will be.

If YOU do not act with your Bank, we will presume any payments continued to be made are a voluntary contribution in relation to supporting the Club although this is not necessary at this time.

If you have any concerns or are unhappy with the procedure we are putting in place over your payment please could you contact payments@lincolngymnastics.club.

02nd January 2021 - Happy New Year but..........

Oh

It is with regret, following government announcements, that our planned return in January 2021 can no longer go ahead due to moving into Tier 4.

Tier 4 means we have to remain closed. This is a massive blow and with no specific timeline of reopening being issued under the government changes, very worrying and disappointing.

Obviously, we want our members and their families to stay safe and well but also know how important sporting activities can be to some of our gymnasts well-being and for some parents, keeping their sanity!

Help

With the information limited we will keep you up to date with any changes as they arise. For those concerned, further information re: member fee payments will follow up this communication in a few days.

Thank you again for your support in this matter. Although we remain in limbo, we hope our return will take place very soon and all our gymnasts can return safely to the sporting activity they love.

Stay Well,

Club Directors, Committee and Coaching Team.

23rd December 2020 - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas
Lincoln Gym Club would like to wish all members and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION**

Although a difficult year has been had by all, we continue to be grateful of the support you as parents/guardians have shown to the club.

With so many of you showing your desire for your child's gymnastics activities to continue and be provided as best as possible, we have been looking at all groups returning in the new year.

Looking to re-opening January............

2021

As you know, Lincolnshire currently is in Tier 3. If we remain in this Tier or are moved down, we hope that ALL classes for ALL levels daytime, evenings and weekends, will return w/c Monday 4th January.

Please note: If we unfortunately have a change into Tier 4 before this date then the club will more than likely have to remain closed or incur different restrictions. If this does happen, we will update you as soon as we can.

Session Information

Please scroll down and continue to read the information for your child/children(s) session level and subsequent information for all.......

FIT KIDZ, PRESCHOOL, MIXED AFTER SCHOOL

Places for all gymnasts remain as they would have been in these levels of classes. You will previously have made payment for Term 2, a 6-week term which was unable to take place. This payment was deferred and will be used for payment for the planned Term 3 - w/c 4th January to w/c 8th February.

If you are unsure of whether you have made this previous payment or which class your child will be returning in please get in touch by email.

CLUB RECREATIONAL & COMPETITIVE SQUADS

Places for all gymnasts remain as they would have been in these levels of classes.

You should have made a normal monthly payment for November and this was then deferred to become your December payment when we reopened on 3rd Dec. You should have then stopped your standing order for December unless wishing to voluntarily contribute.

As it is planned, we will return w/c 4th January we require you to start back up your usual standing order(s). Please remember YOU need to restart the Standing Order; we do not have control over payments you make via your bank.

If for any reason a higher Tier change occurs, we will communicate about any payment information asap. If you are unsure of your previous monthly payment, please get in touch by email.

To ALL,

We hope this makes sense and keeps you up to date with plans we are putting into place for reopening in January.

As previously stated, any issues, questions or concerns please contact via email, info@lincolngymnastics.club or payments@lincolngymnastics.club

Have a great Christmas and stay well. Look forward to seeing everyone hopefully in the New Year.

Take Care

Club Directors, Committee and Coaching Team.

7th December 2020 - December Re-Opening

I M P O R T A N T

We are back again!

Following the Government’s latest announcements, we have great pleasure in announcing the gymnastics centre will be reopening on Saturday 5th December through to the Christmas break on Friday 18th December inclusive. The sessions will run as usual for all recreational and competitive monthly paying gymnasts.

Our termly sessions as previously advised, will not restart until the New Year. The details for their restart will follow. The reason we are not reopening earlier than the 5th is purely to give us the time to get the gym clean and ready for you all again.

We are committed to keeping you and your families safe in our environment with the hope that we can all enjoy the best possible Christmas that we are able to. As you are all aware, we made a lot of changes to our procedures when we reopened in July. All these measures remain in place. However, we are now introducing further measures to align ourselves with other organisations.

FACE COVERINGS: All gymnasts, coaches, officials, and other specifically authorised persons attending the gymnastics centre, and who are over the age of 11, are to wear face coverings on the premises. This includes the car park.

Gymnasts will remove their face coverings and place them in their kit bags or coat pockets before entering the gym and will put them back on when leaving the gym, for any reason, including use of the toilets. All other persons must keep their face coverings on at all times whilst on the premises, including in the gym.

NOTE: If you hold an exemption certificate, then please make yourself known to the Club so that we may make appropriate arrangements on an individual basis.

Our Risk Assessment is currently being updated in-line with these additional measures. To view our COVID-19 Risk Assessment, please visit the Club’s website.

Please remember, if you, or any member of your household, have any sickness, COVID-19 related or otherwise, then please do NOT come to the centre. Also, if you, or any member of your household, are in clinically vulnerable or clinically extremely vulnerable groups, then you should continue to follow Government guidance. If you are self-isolating at home, then please do NOT come to the centre.

Please note that the Viewing Gallery & Changing areas remain CLOSED, and until further notice, only gymnasts, coaches, club officials and specifically authorised persons are permitted to enter the centre.

Parents/carers, etc. are NOT permitted entry to the centre. No one is permitted to enter through any access point unless invited to by a Club official.

Fees: The fees arrangements remain as previously advised – fees paid in November will be carried forward for December, so no more fees due for December. If you have not paid your November fees, then please pay them as soon as possible. Monthly fees will restart as usual from January 1. Please restart your Standing Orders, accordingly, remembering to only use your BG membership number as the reference. Unless you advise us to the contrary, any fees paid in December will be considered voluntary donations to support the running costs of the Club during these unprecedented times.

Thank you for your cooperation in following all the guidance.

02-07-16 - Official Opening

Lincoln Gymnastics Club held the official opening of its new facility on Saturday 2nd July 2016.

This has taken 2 years of careful planning, negotiation and support to reach this milestone in the clubs 34 year history. The club organised a full day of social and fundraising events with the fundraising buying a defibrillator for the centre and supporting the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The day concluded with the official opening by Alan Hutchinson Head Coach and Andrew McLoughlin the clubs Special Olympic 2015 World Championship medal winning gymnast. This was followed by a display by the clubs competitive squads for parents, friends and invited guests.
